Travelodge by Wyndham Niagara Falls at the Falls

Stayed here in November, the location is super convenient. The rooms were very very cheap (off-season). My room was clean, and very large, room 527, a double king bed suite, had a mini fridge and a microwave. This suite even has its own reserved parking space! Now for the bad, if I didn’t know what to expect when visiting NF Canada I’d be disappointed. The rooms, the hotel, and the town are all very dated and pretty rundown. Room 527 is basically on the main sidewalk of Clifton Hill. This is good, and also very bad. The blackout curtains let light through, and they are low quality/design. They don’t fully close. This is a HUGE issue as there are lights on all night on the street. The rooms also have no sound insulation so the noises from the street are extremely prominent. Theres 24 hour a day music playing outside, people talking, yelling, fighting, and you can hear the “horror” music from the haunted house. Not a good nights sleep. As for room 527, i wouldn’t book it again. Management, FIX THE DOOR, there is a solid half inch or more of play when it’s shut and the wind kicks the door in and out all night which is incredibly loud. All in all would stay here again for the price, but wouldn’t take room 527!

We stayed just the one night but we loved the place. It's very close to all the attractions of Clifton Hill and most importantly to the falls which were a dream to see. We had a lovely big room in the quietest part of the motel. There was à pool and flowers on the external corridors.

This is not the place to stay if you want fancy high class 5 star hotel experience… this is the PERFECT hotel for young couples, fun family vibes or a last minute trip. I have stayed at many different hotels in Niagara & this one BY FAR best location, your literally in middle of everything & the price is actually not that bad! No complains on the room everything was clean and it had what we needed. Mike at reception was a sweetheart he was amazing right off the jump. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been coming to Niagra once a year with my Girlfriend , sometimes more. I have tried many hotels in the area. The location here is fantastic, this time we spent the new year here and got a newly renovated king room with a private balcony and absolutely loved my time here. Staff called at 11:30am to ask if we needed any more coffee or anything at all . For the price to come here in the new year for the lights and experience was great Her and I will be back . Some of the negative reviews here aren't fair or capture at all what this location is best at offering and the friendly positive staff just compliments it .

Older motel in the heart of the amusement district. Room pretty large bed's are decent. A/C unit aims right at the head of one of the beds. Fairly quiet. No included breakfast. Paid parking. Short walk to the shoreline park.

You walk out of the building and you see the American falls. Its very close. The rooms are decent, but not the best. Its ideal for someone who wants to stay really close to the falls, but don't care much about the facilities.

We have spent considerably more money at the bigger hotels in the area and sometimes have been unimpressed for the huge cost. This travel lodge is a basic motel with a good sized clean room, beautiful flowers on all the railings and a nice heated swimming pool. It is right in the middle of the action on Clifton hill and easy walking distance to the falls. The service from Mark was fantastic and all the coupons for the restaurants and activities added even more value! We will be back!

We had a great stay!! Close to everything with for a great price! Affordable parking and coupons for a great breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean! Will definitely keep going back! Late November 2025
